Public Library Felipe González, Seville

This building is the work of municipal architect Fernando Sánchez Navarrete, situated in front of the Guadalquivir dock in the street Rey Juan Carlos I and surrounded by an important overstory in the Torneo area overlooking the river.

The cost of its 1.800 square metres built rose to about four million euros, and this was inaugurated in March 2.011 and as today because of the crisis it is only a study centre due to the shortage of personnel.

The idea behind this construction is the use of light allowing this to penetrate in the interior and connecting visually with the river from the inside something that will serve well for the studying area as a relaxing experience, likewise this work does not pose a great visual impact from the Torneo Avenue.
